Hainan Dao: Hainan Dao is known as the Hawaii of China and I just love it there. For starters its warm. We explored the island a bit on our very first Spring Festival vacation, back in 2005. It hasn't changed much. From Haikou we went up the coast to Wenchang, in a futile attempt to visit the only existing python farm in China. They wouldn't let us past the gates. Very secretive, which makes me think they are hiding something. The irony is that everything we would have wanted to see is shown to the whole world on their website video.
